InuYasha: Anime and Manga

After a year of hiatus, I have finally managed to pull myself together enough to work on this site again. I don’t like to discuss personal information here (that’s why I have a separate blog… for the nitty-gritty Jessie Angel’s life stuff), but since it’s been a year and I sorta left this site without so much as a goodbye, I figured I owed it to you guys to let you know the why’s.  Last year I was diagnosed with Cancer and spent the whole year after my initial surgery having treatment and just trying to get better. Now, almost a year after being diagnosed, I’m please to say that I am now cancer-free and can finally hit the ‘play’ button on my life after it had been on pause for so long. 

So, now that that explanation is out of the way, I am happy to say that I will be doing regular updates to this site (as well as the House of Inu Social Network site… Hopefully with more time, I will be able to get that one up and running as well!!).  I plan on uploading all the manga chapters as well as all the anime episodes including The Final Act.  Wow, I can’t believe that before I left this site in hiatus, we were discussing when the next OVA would be coming out, and we all got something so much better. Have you guys been tuning in every Monday?  You know I have!

InuYasha: Anime & Manga is back online!  Thank you for your patience and for understanding.  I have not finished uploading all the scans that had been done up to chapter 34, but I’m getting there.  I should be done by tomorrow.

The rest of the site seems to be working as it should.  If something is broken, or not working like it’s suppossed to, let me know and I’ll get it fixed right away.

Also, the InuYasha Social Network should be up and running soon.  I’m just running some more tests before I let it roll ‘LIVE’.

I will be conducting a site maintenance today at around 2PM (Pacific Standard time).  During this time you will not be able to access any site content, or may not even be able to view the site at all.

This is in preparation to the main House of Inu social network site that I will be installing this week, there were a few things I needed to change (like the site url – the old one will still work, it will just re-direct you to the new url: http://animanga.houseofinu.org.  I will also be removing the forum on this site permanently, and the ‘chat’ feature.  I will be using a dedicated forum and IRC chat that will connect to all other sites: the anime & manga, the social network, as well as the ’still-in-the-works’ fan fiction & fan art site.

I apologize for the inconvenience, but it is a necessary evil…

If all goes well, the site should be up and running by tonight (11PM – Pacific Standard time.)

Actually, this is not the real deal… but pretty cool none the less, ne?

If you don’t already know, Warner Home Video has agreed to distribute Viz Media’s DVD releases from April 1st onward on iTunes.  So far, the only titles available on the iTunes store are Bleach, Death Note, and Naruto.  But you can bet your favorite Sesshomaru chibi keychain that InuYasha will be added to that list pretty soon too.
